Vital Learning Corporation Announces Release of Online Supervision Series
Omaha, Nebraska. (September 14, 2004). International training company Vital Learning Corporation, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, announces the release of the online version of its newly revised flagship leadership development curriculum, The Supervision Series.
The Supervision Series Online enables more organizations that ever before to equip leaders at all levels with the skills that really empower leadership success and great team performance. The workshop version of the Supervision Series has been used worldwide to train millions of current and aspiring leaders.
The 12 modules in the new online series include The Essentials (Essential Skills of Leadership and Essential Skills of Communicating) and 10 Interpersonal modules (including modules on Delegating, Supporting Change, Communicating Up, Resolving Conflicts, and six others).
According to Dave Erdman, President of Vital Learning, “The new online version, with its “anytime/anywhere” power, will open up access to the Supervision Series for the many organizations that need to train leaders but just can't justify the time commitment required for workshop learning.”
He went on to add, ”The new Supervision Series Online perfectly mirrors the content of the workshop-based courses, including their high-quality video. We've also applied the same instructional design rigor to make sure that online learners will really learn the skills and are able to apply those skills back on the job, where it really matters.”
According to Howard Kamens, Director of Marketing, “The availability of the new online Supervision Series courses will enable any organization, regardless of size or location, to implement proven, cost effective, practical leadership development training.”
Connie Beavers, Director of Product Development at Vital Learning, added, “With the delivery options available in our new Supervision Series; workshop, online, or blended, our customers can reach their training audiences through the approach that works best for them. For example, in companies that need a quality blended solution, the bridge sections in our workshop Leaders' Guides make it possible to effectively link our new online learning content to workshop skills practice sessions. This gives our customers a great opportunity to customize delivery of a program to meet the specific cost, training time, and outcome requirements of their organization.”
